FOSTER SUPPORT FAITH ALLIANCE
ABOUT US
Imagine two towers with a bridge between them. Connecting them. To build a strong bridge the FSFA’s mission is to strengthen the bridge towers and help to make strong connections:
The Foster Support Faith Alliance is a network that connects churches in the Puget Sound region to the needs of the foster care system. There are seven state child welfare offices we support. What if churches could wrap around their local foster care community with love to care for these vulnerable children and families? We can.
BUILDING BRIDGES
Foster Care is good news - a means through which the good news story can be shared in beautiful ways - to kids, their families, our community, and us.

The First Tower: The Local Church
The FSFA works to inform, engage, and equip local churches to serve vulnerable children and families.
The Second Tower: The Local Child Welfare Office (DCYF)
There are several local DCYF offices strategically located around the Puget Sound. Our goal is to have a local church network support the work and workers of each office.
The Bridge: The FSFA
The connection happens through the local networks which are led by a local church church leader serving with a team of church advocates. These local networks are connected through quarterly regional gatherings.
